Text First AI is an independent guide to AI agents you can reach by text message. We aren’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Google, Apple, or any other company we write about.
How we check facts
Our tables link each claim about plans, prices, regions, or compatibility to its source and show when we last checked it, and our guides link to their sources as they go. We go to OpenAI’s own docs first, then to press coverage.
- Per OpenAI: OpenAI’s own docs or announcements say it.
- Reported: a news outlet or community post says it, and OpenAI’s docs don’t.
- Not stated: we found no answer from OpenAI.
- Tested: we tried it ourselves. No rows carry this label yet, because we don’t have a texting account to test with.
When sources disagree, we show both instead of picking one. If we can’t confirm a number, we leave it out.
What this guide isn’t
This site doesn’t sell, provide, or connect you to any AI product. It never asks for your phone number or your account details. To use a dot, go to ChatGPT. This guide isn’t legal or financial advice.
